PCGrate-S(X) v.6.1 is updated

PCGrate-S(X) update v.6.1 32-bit is available
PCGrate-S(X) v. 6.1 32-bit series software with a few improvements is available for an update as from April 16. A special approach for calculations of blazed gratings with Polygonal type profiles, except the Lamellar subtype, is used in the Normal calculation mode for the Perfect or Finite Type of low border conductivity. In order to change the working facet in the border profile of the Polygonal type, one should create a second (pre-last) point of the border profile using the rule. A number of other control and information parameters were included and the documentation was updated accordingly. The PCGrate-S(X) v. 6.1 32-bit series update is ready for Microsoft® Windows® 7.
The PCGrate®-S(X) v.6.1 32-bit Series toolkit combines the superb performance of earlier implementations of the PCGrates with a modern GUI that has 3-D&2-D OpenGL plots and extends appreciably the set of supported features such as paralleling and the calculation of grating efficiency from the command line using XML-format input/output files. The PCGrate-S(X) v.6.1 Series software makes it possible to simulate the effect of micro-roughness and inter-diffusion (i.e. random scattering in the multilayers), to model gratings covered with thin or/and very thick layers of arbitrary shape, to calculate aspherical gratings, and to work with conical mountings and non-planar incident waves as well as with a general polarization state.
PCGrate®-S(X) v. 6.1 32-bit has two series: S and SX; and each series have three types: PCGrate®-S(X) v. 6.1 GUI, PCGrate®-S(X) v. 6.1 XML and PCGrate®-S(X) v. 6.1 Complete. PCGrate®-S v. 6.1 series have the minimal value of the wavelength-to-period ratio of 0.02 and the maximal number of layers of the grating surface multilayer material of 20. PCGrate®-SX v. 6.1 series have the minimal value of the wavelength of 0.01 nm (there is no a physical restriction on wavelength-to-period ratios) and the maximal number of layers of the grating surface multilayer material of 5 000. The PCGrate-S(X) v. 6.1 XML and PCGrate-S(X) v. 6.1 Complete types make it possible to calculate the grating efficiency from the command line with input/output data in XML format. В The PCGrate-S(X) v. 6.1 GUI and PCGrate-S(X) v. 6.1 Complete types make it possible to obtain the calculated data using the Graphical User Interface and work with the results including saving, coping, exporting, plotting, printing, etc. The type is determined by the HASP® USB key, which is shipped with the product.
The update has the same input and output formats in comparison with the last releases of v. 6.1.
